Nana’s Children’s
Center is a not for profit organization with 501(c) (3)
status that operates a Residential Care Facility for
children who must live apart from their families. The
facility is available to children in foster care under the
age of 18. The facility is a vacation away from home for
children who for what ever reason can’t return home.
Nana’s Children’s
Center provides foster care that is responsive and unique.
The center caters to the individual needs of infants,
children and young adults by providing a stable and pampered
home away from home for the children in its care.
The facility works with
the families, courts and DCFS to make this transition as
easy as possible. By providing social worker, vocational
and transportation services this vacation away from home
creates an excellent living environment for the children
entrusted to our care. The families, DCFS and the Courts
are confident that their choice to place the children with
us is the best for all involved.
Nana’s Children’s
Center services include:
• full–time
residential care,
•private rooms for
kids with kids, and children ages 14 and older.
•4 visiting rooms
for the children and family members
•24 hour security
• direct–care staff
and
•Alliances with
medical facilities for the children in our care
•There is
entertainment and recreational opportunities,
• and educational
opportunities.
Our goal is to meet the
social, physical, mental, recreational, educational, and
vocational needs of all the children placed in our care,
while ensuring their stay with us is a safe and pleasant
one.
We also provide
respite and emergency care services for children that are in
foster care. These services are provided to parents and
foster care parents.
